Privacy notice

Last updated: 24 September 2026. Daily Brain Lab is an independent recreational puzzle and trivia website. This notice explains the browser data, leaderboard data, hosting and advertising technologies used by the site.

Local game data

Game progress, personal bests, streaks and Daily 5 history may be stored in your browser using local storage. This data normally stays on your device and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser.

Daily Quiz leaderboard

If the shared leaderboard backend is enabled, starting and completing a Daily Quiz sends a pseudonymous random browser identifier, quiz date and quiz answers to the server so a score can be calculated and duplicate daily attempts can be limited. If you choose to post a score, the nickname you enter (1–5 letters), score and quiz date are displayed publicly. The browser identifier is not displayed publicly. Posted server-side records are not removed merely by clearing browser storage. Use the contact method on the Contact page to request deletion when a contact address is available.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising and cookies

Daily Brain Lab is being connected to Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising. Google's use of advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on a user's visits to this site and/or other sites. Where required, visitors will be presented with consent choices before personalized advertising is served. Users can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center.

For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Daily Brain Lab intends to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Advertising should not be treated as fully activated until that consent setup and AdSense site approval are complete.

Analytics and accounts

Daily Brain Lab does not currently provide user accounts or a newsletter and does not intentionally install a separate third-party analytics product in this release. AdSense and its consent tooling may process information as described above once activated.

A dedicated public contact address has not yet been configured. This must be completed before the site is submitted for its wider advertising launch. See Contact.
